Pop-Up Spa

A series of 2 care days for tenant organizers in Chinatown, including hired masseuses, self-massage tools, and spa kits. We organized free massages and spa kits for a Chinatown tenant organization associated with Chinatown Community for Equitable Development (CCED). A couple of our members are or have been members of CCED, and we came up with the event in response to Hillside Villa tenants and organizers’ need for some type of bodily release from their ongoing fight toward housing justice.
