Our Values

  • We believe that all bodies are deserving of rest, healing, and pleasure– and we prioritize bodies that are historically left out of care, particularly those bodies of Queer people, Trans and GNC people, people of color, working class people, and disabled people.
  • We believe in care that is non-hierarchical and consensual. We reject models of care that rely on charity and center our frameworks on models of mutual aid and knowledge building.
  • We prioritize and uplift the voices of Queer people, Trans and GNC people, people of color, working class people, and disabled people as the holders of sacred knowledge and bodily power.
  • We prioritize the well-being of our community members over short term goals and deadlines. We understand that to build sustained care and joy in our communities, we need to pace our energy and avoid burn-out.
  • We are invested in environmental sustainability. We understand ourselves as part of an ecosystem that requires care. We honor and recognize the land and the stewards of the land that have come before us.
